To remove your number from Pages Blanches, start with your phone provider's directory publication settings, then report any listing that remains visible to the directory. If the listing concerns your business, use the PagesJaunes process for professionals. An old home address and a business listing may require different steps.
This guide is based on public pages reviewed for the French source on 25 September 2026. No request was submitted on behalf of an individual to prepare it, so it does not report a measured removal time.

Why your number is online
The CNIL explains the role of phone providers in directories. Landline numbers are listed by default, and ex-directory status lets you object. Mobile numbers are published following an express request.
A business listing may have a different source. Its existence alone does not prove that your provider supplied your personal number. Check the type of listing and the information it displays.
Step by step: remove your number from Solocal
1. Save the correct listing's address
Open the result, check that it refers to you and copy its URL. Note what you want removed: a number, home address or other information. A dated screenshot kept privately records what was visible. Do not repost it on a support forum.
2. Update publication settings with your provider
For a personal line, open your customer account and look for directory or ex-directory settings. Check this choice again if you change providers. The aim is to address future publication as well as remove an existing copy.
3. Follow the process for your situation
The official PagesJaunes help page distinguishes individuals from professionals.
- Individual: follow the section for adding, changing or removing contact details on PagesBlanches.
- Professional: use professional support or listing management. Reporting that a business has closed and removing personal information are different requests.
If those options do not cover your circumstances, consult Solocal's privacy policy. It lists the rights-request channels, including the data protection officer's contact details. A commercial callback form is not the appropriate channel for an erasure request.
4. Make a precise request
Provide the URL, the information concerned and the result you want. For example: “This listing displays my personal phone number. I would like that number to stop appearing on this page.”
Adapt the request to your circumstances. Do not send a complete set of identity documents without being asked. If further verification is requested, check the recipient and limit the information you provide to what is necessary.
5. Check the result
Keep the acknowledgement or a copy of your submission. After the reply, reopen the listing: has the information disappeared, been replaced or merely been hidden in some views? An automatic acknowledgement does not establish that removal is complete.
Deadlines and follow-up
A GDPR request should normally receive a response within one month. A justified extension is possible in certain circumstances. Our right to erasure guide explains the framework and its limits.
If there is no reply, or the reply does not address your request, keep the correspondence and follow the reminder and complaint process. This response deadline does not guarantee that every Google result will disappear.
The listing is gone, but Google still shows my number
Check the original page first, not just the search snippet. If the page has changed, Google may still display an earlier version. If it still exposes your contact details, you still need to pursue the request with the website.
