How can I find my old YouTube activity?
The official Google connection lets Data Knight map your channel, published videos, playlists, subscriptions and liked videos. The report organises them by category, age and risk level.
Will the scan find all my old YouTube comments?
Not always. The YouTube API does not provide an exhaustive list of comments left on other channels' videos. Data Knight only displays data it can actually access and clearly explains this limitation in the report.
Do I have to give Data Knight my Google password?
No. You sign in on Google's official screen. Data Knight never sees your password, and the requested permissions are limited to YouTube, with no access to Gmail, Drive, your contacts or other Google data.
Can I delete YouTube items from Data Knight?
Yes, where the API allows it and only after your confirmation: published videos, playlists, subscriptions and likes can be removed from the report. The channel itself and items outside this scope must be managed in YouTube.
Can I revoke YouTube access after the scan?
Yes. You can disconnect it from My account in Data Knight or from Google's security settings. Scan results are also deleted within 30 days at the latest.
What is the difference between Social Pro and Always-on Protection?
